Purpose and the conference topics
Purpose of the conference:
The aim of the conference is to discuss the identified needs for shaping and developing the green skills that the social economy sector needs to actively participate in the green transformation process. Special attention will be given to the training of students and the support of academics to understand and disseminate the concept of sustainability and sustainable development in the social economy.
The parallel aim of the conference is to showcase the many results of the international project: „Harnessing the potential of the Social Economy towards a green transformation through the establishment of Socially Driven Green Labs within Universities - Social Driven Green Labs (SDGLabs)”, whose audiences include: students, teachers, decision-makers at various levels, third sector representatives and competence trainers.
Topics of the conference:
The conference will create a kind of scientific platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, and thus collaboration, between the SDG Labs project partner consortium team, associated partners and relevant stakeholder groups from science, education and social economy actors working on green transformation issues.
As part of the conference, interactive sessions are planned to give participants the opportunity to explore the results of the SDG Labs project, including scientific reports, digital galleries, teacher manuals, MOOCs for teachers, simulation models and online pocket courses.
At the same time, the space created during the conference for the exchange of knowledge and experience will remain open for the presentation of research results in areas such as:
- Social entrepreneurship in solving the problems of modern economies;
- Green skills development approach and actions;
- Usefulness of green skills and future skills in business practice;
- Training of professionals for the social economy sector;
